My wonderful ‘other’ dad. Patient. Calm. Considerate. I have so many great memories of such wonderful times, not least some incredible holidays in Scotland where we enjoyed the walking and wildlife, exchanging sneaky grins as we teased Mum and talking mum ‘off the ledge’ after she had read Viki’s teenage diary. I am really thankful to have had Brian as my stepfather but most of all I am so very grateful to him for how happy he made Mum.  She blossomed with the amazing love they shared and it was a joy to see their special bond - even after 42 years of marriage. Love you and miss you Brian xxx
